Errol G. Wilson – President

Errol Wilson joined NYC Development & Construction Group. Inc. in New York in 1988 as a Engineer and quickly moved himself up the ladder and became the Vice President of Operations. In 2007 the company expand its operation in Florida where he now enjoys the position of President.

Under his leadership and with multiple degrees and State Licenses, Mr. Wilson consistently increased the company's workload and its revenue.

What We Do / Services

Pre Construction


The main process of pre-construction services is to assist our client from the beginning of a project at conception in achieving their design and budget goals. Understanding what our client wants to achieve including design, budgeting, timeline, engineering, labor and safety programs are our ultimate goal.

Our team of professionals has the capability of accomplishing such services. At different phases of the pre-construction process, we provide our clients with suggestions on materials and other construction related concerns should there be a discrepancy between our initial designs and our client’s budget.

Design + Build


When an owner gives out projects, most are expected to be completed with an extremely tight time frame and within budget. Our design builder team provides the advantage of both by establishing early mobilization and construction activities concurrently with the owner’s approval with the design. The construction team is motivated to work alongside the design team to creatively find ways to reduce construction costs without reducing the function of the final product.

Construction Management


We perform the overall planning, co-ordination and control of a project from the inception to completion. Our goal is aimed primarily at meeting the client’s requirements in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will maximize our clients ‘resources efficiently through procurement of labor, materials and equipment.

Our project objectives and plans include a delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants so that the project itself can be completed on time, within authorized cost as well as quality standards.

General Construction


We believe that quality is job one. If is our attitude at the beginning of any construction project, more than anything else, that will provide a successful outcome.

From Residential, Commercial and Industrial, we are responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the construction project as well as management of vendors and trades. In addition, we are also responsible for keeping the communication between the owner and the architect open and clear throughout the course of the project.

CM At Risk


We deliver at-risk work that entails a commitment by our construction management team to deliver the project within a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), in all cases.

Our construction management team acts as consultant to the owner in the development and design phases, often referred to as "Preconstruction Services". We discuss the client’s concerns and deliver a method that works best and tailored to their needs. Our fees are reasonable for at-risk work relative to the services and risk we undertake for a project to be completed within budget.

Interior


We are involved in all phases of commercial, residential and industrial interior alteration. As with all of our projects, careful attention is given to planning, cost, budgeting, material availability and customer needs. All of our residential projects are built using material efficiency, energy savings and water efficient products that works throughout the building’s lifecycle.

Environment


Mold can grow almost anywhere, as long as moisture and oxygen are present. Mold growth is more likely to take place as a result of undiscovered or unaddressed excessive moisture that accumulates in buildings or on building materials over time.

Mold growth can be controlled immediately by the thorough clean up, drying and/or removal of water damaged materials. All initial water infiltration materials should be removed and/or cleaned within 24 to 48 hours. Moisture problems may include plumbing leaks, roof leaks, hvac condensation, as well as unvented combustion appliances. Emphasis should be on ensuring proper repairs of the building infrastructure, so that water damage and moisture build up does not re-occur.

Architectural


We form joint ventures with different architectural firms on various projects, whether it may be commercial, residential or industrial. These firms are procured at the initial planning stages of the construction project. In addition to our Planning team, they are responsible for providing the drawings, plans and technical specification of the project, based on the customer's need.

Real Estate Development


As a real estate development company, we understand the local real estate market and can identify the best properties to invest in. We typically purchase tracts of land, determine the marketing of the property, develop the building program and design, and obtain the necessary public approval and financing. We are responsible for overseeing all of the people involved in the building of homes, offices, retail centers or industrial sites.

Engineering


We work conjunctively with different Civil Engineering Firms from time to time whether it is a new community development, commercial or industrial project. In addition to our Planning team, they are responsible for providing innovative and responsive civil engineering services based on our needs.
